Lisa Michaels, CSR 6361, RPR, CCRR

Chase Litigation Services has been serving the legal community with superior litigation support services and the nation’s top stenographers for over 30 years.  Our goal has always been to provide each client, each firm and their staff the personal attention and outstanding transcripts that they expect and deserve.

Our President, Lisa Michaels, is a licensed certified shorthand reporter and began her court reporting career in Los Angeles, California, where she was a staff reporter for a top LA reporting agency that embraced the concept of matching clients with exceptional reporters.  Lisa adopted these values and integrated them into her vision of Chase Litigation Services when she opened our first office in Southern California in 1984.

Today, Ms. Michaels is an active member of the National Court Reporters Association, Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting, California Official Court Reporters Association and has served seven years on the board of directors of the Deposition Reporters Association of California, including two years as President.  She is qualified as a Registered Professional Reporter, Certified LiveNote Reporter, she holds the California Certificate in Realtime Reporting and was honored with the Distinguished Service Award from her court reporting peers in 2016.

Here at Chase, we take our job as part of your legal support team seriously, and we believe the highest standards must be maintained to ensure professional excellence in the industry.  We are able to reach this high quality of service because of our stringent, ethical requirements for our staff along with our “green” technology which minimizes litigation’s impact on the environment.   In addition, our commitment to work directly with our clients, without a sales department, allows all Chase team members to really understand our clients’ needs.  With no sales personnel middleman costs, we can continue to mentor, hire and retain the nation’s top court reporting professionals.   As a court reporter herself, our President knows exactly what happens when the deposition room door closes, the witness is sworn in and proceedings begin.  From exhibits to realtime, her hands-on experience leads the way in answering client needs, large or small, and delivering the best service in the industry.

As Chase has succeeded and grown over the last 30 years, we've expanded to over 100 locations across the nation and now provide litigation support around the world.  Whether it's a deposition in San Jose or Tokyo, Chase is your one trusted firm to serve all of your reporting needs.
